Buddy by si.am

A little buddy for your Windows desktop

Buddy Nest puts a pixel-art companion above your taskbar. It naps, plays and reacts to you, and slowly builds a little world with you: a home, a garden, a kitchen.

Each one has its own moves

Meet the buddies

  • Mina

Tidy and dutiful, secretly playful. Sweeps the taskbar and stops for tea.

  • Biscuit

Eager, clumsy and loyal. Chases its tail and drops a ball at your cursor.

  • Mochi

Aloof and curious. Pounces at your cursor and sits in boxes.

  • Yui

Studious, polite and quietly cheerful. Reads on the taskbar, skips rope and bows hello.

Pick your first buddy for free. Adopt the others for 350 coins each. They can all be out at once, or take turns resting.

One family, two places

Buddy by si.am is a small family of companions. The same buddies and the same account live in two places: the nest on your Windows desktop, and the desk in your browser for the working day.

Buddy Nest

The app. Your buddy lives above the taskbar, builds a home and a garden, cooks, keeps your notes and reminders, and your friends' buddies may visit.

More about the nest

Buddy Desk

The site. The buddy you own sits in a room of its own and helps with your day: today's plan, tasks, notes, the calendar, jobs it runs for you, the Square where people help each other, and your buddies' chats and visits.

Open the desk

Sign in with the same Lare-Lore account on both. Rooms bought in the game are chosen on the desk; a visit asked on the desk shows up at the nest.
