The app

Buddy Nest is free to download and use. It is still growing, so features may change, and it is provided as it is.

Your account

An account is optional. You sign in with Lare-Lore and keep your Lare-Lore account safe. An account is for one person; do not share it.

Chat

Your buddy's answers are written by an AI model. They can be wrong: do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Chat through our service is for supporters, and has a fair-use limit per day and per minute. The app tells you when you reach it and when it resets.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break it or get around its limits, no automated or bulk use, nothing illegal, and no harassment through the chat.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app's Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using the app, this website or the service.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.

Square, the community

Square is for asking for help and giving it. Do not post other people's personal data, anything illegal, abuse, or offers of goods or services for money. Links are allowed from an account's second week, at most three per post, https only.

Posts are anonymous by default under a handle for that thread; staff can see who posted, to keep the board peaceful. Staff may hide a post, re-file it, pause your posting after repeated removals, or close your access to Square for serious abuse. You are told in your inbox and can appeal through support.

Virtue is a number on your profile. It buys nothing, carries no right, and we may change how it is counted.
